What an adventure! Oh my, what an adventure this has been! I really did not expect this to become such a huge success. I am still happy with that every single day! Really! Of course I hoped it would be picked up when I was thinking about doing a CAL about the interwoven or locking crochet technique, but that it would become such a success, and that I would get so much positive response, I absolutely didn’t expect that to happen. Message of this post: ‘Wow! This makes me blush! I’ts 14:35 pm and I already have 56 members. I really didn’t expect that. ThankRead More →

A nice and simple surrounding border When you’ve finished crocheting row 160a, do not cut off the yarn of color 1. The thread of color 2 can be cut off and you can darn in the end. Looks like cars, don’t you think so? It’s always a bit subjective with these small patterns, but my first thought really was little cars 🙂 . On a 4-lane way, in a traffic jam. I always have to think of that crazy Dutch song of Andre van Duin  🙂 . For the ones who do not know this: here is the video. Could be something that’s from before your time of course, but it’s still funny 🙂 . There was a lot of guessing again on facebook , and some guessed it right of course 🙂 . Did you see the back by the way?Read More →

It was quite funny, on Facebook there was quite some guessing what the ‘theme’ of the next part of the HAL CAL would be, and there were a couple of ladies that guessed it right 🙂 . Little fishies! In all it’s simplicity I found it so cute, that I wanted it to be in the blanket. So I did! I’m very curious about what you think the next part will be 🙂 . The sunshine Last week the suns were released, and it was very nice again to see the pictures of your work. I’m most of the time very positively pleased with yourRead More →
